The Hortilux Super “high pressure sodium” bulb is our best 400-watt HPS Lamp for spectral and lumen output. Strong yellow-orange-red HPS light for fruiting and flowering is supplemented with an increase in the blue spectrum for healthy, compact vegetative growth. Use in 400-watt sodium systems only. Universal, for both horizontal and base-up operation. This lamp requires a socket (cordset) and can only be used with a 400-watt high pressure sodium ballast (both available separately).
Provides 25% more energy in Violet, Blue and Green spectrum than standard High Pressure Sodium.
The combination of Super HPS and the Metal Ace conversion lamp provides the optimum spectral energy levels through all stages of plant growth.
EN designation means environmentally friendly in that the lamp pass EPA, TCLP test criteria as non-hazardous waste.
